Wow! Full coverage and delightful skating! No debris on trail and I would have used good skis. Deck was a little soft in spots, but to be expected. I will be back again this weekend to enjoy!

Great skiing at Zillmer today! All trails had been recently groomed with full coverage. The trails were firm while still giving a nice edge, even with all the new snow. Thank you to the groomers! (And as an extra bonus, as of this afternoon not one footprint was found on the trails! :).

Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, B skis ]
All trails have been groomed and are in good to excellent condition. The cold temps over Thursday night allowed the ski base to set up nicely and allowing for some quality grooming conditions on Friday morning. All loops have tracks set and a solid, if slightly soft, skate deck. I hope you all enjoy the trails and the excellent weather.

Afternoon
Firsthand: Classic
[ Trails Open: All, B skis ]
Decent snow and ground coverage. The yellow trail is not tracked for classic ski, but groomed. The groomer may have had a few issues as there are several places where you can see the snowmobile was off the trail and left some ruts. I had no trouble with control on hills, decent grip to the snow. Enjoy it while we have it!

Morning
Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, B skis ]
The green, brown, and red loops have all been groomed for both skate and classic skiing with tracks set; they are in good condition. The snow coverage is thick enough that no more bare spots are present and very few areas exist where the icy base layer peaks through. While we did get approximately 8-10" of snow in the area it was mixed with warm weather and a fair amount of rain/sleet making the snow very wet and heavy. The Yellow trail has been packed and rolled but has not been fully groomed as we could not get the proper equipment through the entirety of the trail, due to the snow conditions. You can expect some good skiing with relatively soft conditions.

Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, Rock skis ]
As of 3 pm this afternoon we have received about 5 inches of snow mixed with a small amount of sleet. All trails have been rolled and packed. Currently there is an extremely icy base just under the surface of about 1-2 inches of packed snow. Please use caution and watch for icy spots on the trail. Rock skis are recommended.

I just got done skiing the green to red to yellow trail. Deck is thin. There were about 5 areas that I had to walk a 20 foot segment because of no snow. I could avoid lots of thin areas on the trails. Conditions are slow and getting soft with the sun coming up. It was still worth the ski!

Went out early and had a fairly nice ski. I would avoid the yellow as it's a rocky trail but red was actually quite nice. Once it gets warm it's going to deteriorate quick. Thank you groomers.

Tough skiing at Zillmer today. We attempted to ski the yellow trail and probably got a 1/4 mile before we had to turn around. There was some bare ground showing with a mix of very sticky snow which made it impossible to glide. I had to take my skis off and walked back to the shelter. Honestly would not recommend skiing at this point even with rock skis due to warmer conditions we have and amount of snow on the trail.

Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, Rock skis ]
We received about 4-5 inches yesterday, rather light and fluffy to make a thin base. All loops were rolled this afternoon. There are many icy spots under the snow, use caution. Rock skies are recommended.
