Groomed and set new track this morning. Aside from some pesky oak leaves, trail is in great shape. Best to get out early before trail softens with mild weekend forecast.

Afternoon
Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
Groomed a bit more than one inch of new, dry snow. Skate lane may be a bit soft. Classic tracks shaped up well. Several snow laden, low hanging branches were trimmed back but there are a few remaining. Great conditions, overall.

Firsthand: Classic
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
Fabulous conditions for both skate and classical. Tracks are full and firm with just a bit of granular ice mixed in to the base for super glide. Green kicker was the ticket at 5 °F. Skate lane was crisp corduroy. Saw one skate skier enjoying the day and by the look of his tracks the surface was quite firm.

Afternoon
Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
The skate lane was smoothed and freshly combed at noon today. Classic tracks are solid and fast so they did not get reset. Some occasional patches of leaf and pine needle debris but, overall, very good conditions.

Freshly groomed, fresh powder and absolutely no melting. Firm, fast tracks and nice looking skate lane. This well sheltered trail was amazingly comfortable despite near zero temps.

Groomed over maybe an inch of fine arctic snow mid morning with nice results. Skate lane and track are clean and crisp without a lot of windfall debris. Bundle up and enjoy skiing in the New Year!

A fresh dusting of snow helped with the otherwise cold weather limits on gliding. Solid tracks and a well traveled skate lane. Overall, very good conditions.

Skate lane is firm, classic track is great too. Some tree debris but no dirtiest or rocks. A good start to winter!
