[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
We've been grooming and clearing branches and limbs daily since the Sunday night ice storm and have all of the trails - ski, shoe, bike - back in excellent shape.

Afternoon
Firsthand: Classic
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
Finally we've made it to this little gem of a trail system. Not as much snow depth as the lake effect areas to the north but plenty of coverage everywhere and groomed to perfection. Really an impressive place, with separate trails for skiers, snowshoers, and fat bikers - all are groomed. The chalet is the nicest we've ever seen. They even offer equipment rentals. Terrain is gently rolling, so it is not boring but also not terrifying for beginners. Family-friendly including for the dogs. 5 stars! If you haven't been there you should add it to your list.

Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
Time to come out of hibernation - temperatures are back above zero, sun is out and trails are in excellent shape. We haven't picked up any fresh snow since we groomed on Tuesday but I did scratch up the skate lanes this morning.

Afternoon
Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
The fatbike and snowshoe trails were groomed on Monday and the ski trail was groomed and track set today. All trails are in excellent shape. Dress appropriately if you come out to play the next few days - I hear it might get cold.

Morning
Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
Snowed most of the day on Wednesday and picked up even more today so we groomed up all of the trails this morning and reset the track on the ski trails. Trails are in excellent shape, chalet is warm - don't let the cold temperatures keep you away.

Evening
Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
We picked up 3-5" of nice snow today and spent the afternoon/evening grooming all the trail systems and setting fresh track. Trails should set up nicely overnight and be in great shape for biking, shoeing and/or skiing on Wednesday.

Afternoon
Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
Tidied up all of the trails today - ski, shoe, bike - for the weekend. The bike, snowshoe and skate lane of the ski trail are in great shape with a nice, firm base. With the cold temperatures and lack of fresh snow we are not able to reset the ski tracks and it's showing signs of heavy use in areas.

Afternoon
Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
The snowshoe and ski trails were groomed today and tracks were reset. The trails cleaned up nicely and tracks look great. Friday, we finally were able to start packing down the Out-N-Back trail and today we groomed it and set tracks. It'll take a few more passes before it really sets up but it is skiable.

Very good to excellent conditions at this dog friendly venue. Tracks mostly well set with a very few late weekend washouts. Skate deck firm. Fast and fun on Swix Blue Extra.

Morning
Firsthand: Freestyle Secondhand
[ Trails Open: All, B skis ]
Tale of two different days. We arrived Friday afternoon around 3pm to find the groomer busy doing his thing, trails were in top form for skate. A plus. We ran into one of our friends that tried classic skiing and he said skating was better. We skied until we couldn't see any more. Sunday morning we arrived 9am to find the trails had heavy use Saturday and had not been regroomed. The trails were crowned in some places, washboardy in others. They weren't boilerplate but very hard packed, could have been so much better had they been touched up. There are some spots were the fat bikers have to use the ski trail to connect to their trails and I get that. It appears there were some fat bikers that just road on the ski trails on the back side of the red outside loop, they were riding squirrelly and left a deep s curve pattern down the ski trail. The chalet never disappoints and it's always fun to see what dogs will greet us. The fact Winman is dog friendly is another reason we continue to come back we love skiing with our dog. We will continue to stop back.
