Grooming
[ Good skis ]
Great skiing again today. The grooming crew groomed up 55 km of trails today, including new classic tracks on 40 km. The light snowfalls daily have really been improving the trails. We are grooming and skiing 70 + km of trails.

Grooming
[ Good skis ]
Skiing was reported to be very good today as the trails are leveling out well with the constant snowfalls. We received another dusting of snow overnight and regroomed all of the classic only trails, resetting the classic tracks. The groomers also covered the skate trails. After today's snowfall we will retrack all the combination trails and regroom the skate trails again in the early morning.

Evening
Firsthand: Classic
[ Good skis ]
I skied the River Trail and part of Peltonen tonight and saw very good coverage even after a busy day. The groomers had set new classic tracks on 40 km and groomed all the skating trails early this morning. It was snowing when I finished skiing tonight.

Afternoon
Firsthand: Freestyle
[ B skis ]
Conditions: Good to very good for skate on most trails. Pretty good to good for classic.
The skate deck was good to very good, with the only main exception being the last section of Hautenan Highlands with some dirt and debris from the warm temps and rain earlier in the season. There were a few other icy patches on other trails, but these were avoidable. Classic tracks were pretty good, but thin in perhaps 5% of places. I used B skis, but better skis could be used for skate except as noted. (I did not ski the ski joring trails or Windy Ridge.).

Grooming
[ Good skis ]
Super skiing today; We groomed all 70 km again this morning and are 100% open with classic tracks on all trails. The new snow really leveled out the trails. I was out tonight for a few hours checking trails and leveling with the groomer. The trails were well used today but classic tracks were in good condition and firm. Skate lanes were firm but the hills need grooming. The crew will be out in the early morning to complete grooming.

The trail skied like silk this late afternoon. The six inches of new snow got groomed all day by a full crew of groomers and it was a winter wonderland. I skied after work with Darla and found a firm quiet surface. 70 km of trail is being groomed 60 km is in good to very good condition.

Grooming Scheduling
[ B skis ]
Conditions: The snow set up well last night and we regroomed 70 km this morning and during the day. We have about 40 km of classic track set and 70 km of skating. Of the 70 km of skating, 50 km is in good to very good condition (the other 20 km needs a few more inches of snow).
We are looking for a skier to pick up (20) 12 inch by 12 inch boxes from Superior WI on Monday.

Grooming
[ B skis ]
The new snow really got the trails back to winter like conditions. We picked up 4 inches of dense snow that the winds dried out before we groomed it this morning. The trails mostly have very good coverage, a few ice patches in the low lands. We groomed 60 km this morning and 40 km is skiable.

Grooming
[ B skis ]
It is snowing, it rained today before it snowed. We groomed this morning and then it warmed up and rained. The rain made the snow soft but did not erase the good solid base that we had. We need more snow to regroom and freshen up the trail and cover thin areas.... It is snowing tonight and we have a full crew on to groom and plow in the early morning. We are open 9 til dark including Holidays.
