Welch MTB Jam Coverage
August 7, 2005Pulling a double header, we headed down to Welch Village near Red Wing to catch the action in the Sport and Comp/Expert races at the Welch MTB Jam event. The Welch course was bone dry generating a lot of dust, especially during the mass starts. Temperatures climbed into the upper 80s as spectators climbed the big hill to watch the comp/expert riders hit the infamous wooded drop section.
