  • Assistant Nordic Coach: ISD196 (Rosemount, MN):
    The ISD 196 Nordic Ski Team is looking to hire a full and/or part-time assistant coach for the upcoming 2024-2025 season. The district is located in the southeast suburbs approximately 20 miles from Minneapolis-St. Paul. The ISD 196 Nordic ski team is composed of approximately 80 athletes from grades 7-12 from Rosemount, Eastview, Apple Valley, and Eagan High Schools and their surrounding middle schools. We are looking for a person to join our staff who is competent in both freestyle and classic technique and enjoys both the teaching/instructional and competition aspects of Nordic racing. Competitive salary offered.

  • Bike Mechanic: Gear West (Long Lake, MN):
    Gear West is looking to hire a full-time bike service manager to join their fun and passionate team. This position is centered around strong mechanical skills, management abilities, and will be filled by somebody who is comfortable being customer-facing. This new staff member will have a love of the outdoors and experience in the world of cycling. Due to the constant evolution of the outdoor industry and the products surrounding it, this staff member will also be excited to learn and eager to stay updated as the industry evolves.

Under Wilson's direction, the Loppet has expanded its community role while weathering some difficult times, culminating last February with the World Cup races at Theodore Wirth. The Foundation board will begin a search for a new Executive Director.

"Coach Ernst" of Green Bay, founded local clubs like Hillcrest Running and Bay Nordic and inspired active lifestyles through supporting school/community sports like NDA cross-country and Door County events. Ernst passed away in January.
