The annual CXC Bike Drawing fundraiser benefiting Central Cross Country Skiing's Adaptive Program kicked off this week. The winner will receive a custom-designed, handcrafted, Bingham Built titanium road, cyclocross or hardtail bike frame built with wheelset and components!

RFP Updated for Trailhead Bike/Ski Service Provider

The Loppet Foundation has updated their request for proposals (RFP) for a bike/ski service provider in the Adventure space at the new Trailhead building at Theodore Wirth. Proposal submission deadline is this Friday, August 23rd.

Loppet: Seeking Adventure Center Partner
July 4, 2019
The Loppet Foundation is seeking a bike and ski service provider to partner on the Loppet's new Trailhead facility at Theodore Wirth. Unlike past RFPs, this one has the service provider doing the rentals and merchandise sales along with bike and ski sales and the customer service in The Trailhead facility. Deadline for proposals is July 26th, with a Q&A session on July 16th.

CXC Annual Awards
April 10, 2019
CXC will honor a number of individuals as part of the CXC Congress in late April. Awardees include lifetime commitment: Jack Jeffery; volunteer impact: Jim Tervo; community leader: Ted Theyerl, Chippewa Valley Nordic Ski; excellence in coaching: Kevin Brochman, Minneapolis Ski Club.

Lee Borowski Passes Away
November 10, 2018
John McCarthy reports: Lee Borowski passed away on Oct 31st. Borowski was an innovator and a driving force for cross country skiing, nationwide. He was known for his books and videos that basically taught us all how to skate ski and was a coach and mentor to many, including Luke Bodensteiner. There was a memorial service for him Saturday, Nov 10th, at Krause Funeral Homes in Brookfield, Wi.
