Loppet: Sarah Olson Named Next LNR Development Coach
April 21, 2026The Loppet Foundation announced on Monday that Sarah Olson is set to be start as the next Development Coach for the Loppet Nordic Racing (LNR) Program, beginning in mid-June. A LNR program alumni herself, Olson graduated from the University of Alaska Fairbanks in 2023 where she continued her cross country running and skiing career, and has since embraced life "from pole to pole," working as a firefighter in Fairbanks and Idaho, and in field operations in Antarctica.
Loppet: LNR Looking for Next Development Coach
March 10, 2026With Coach Piotr Bednarski bowing out this spring, the Loppet Foundation has begun their search for the next Coordinator and Development Coach for the Loppet Nordic Racing (LNR) Program. If you are interested in the position, or know someone who might be, there is a link on the notices page for the full listing. Applicants are encouraged to apply by Sunday, March 15th.
Odd Osland Passes Away
March 3, 2026Odd Osland, a very popular skier in the Twin Cities scene as well as a top World Masters skier, has passed away at the age of 84. There will be a social gathering on honor Osland on Monday, March 16th at the Mindekirken in Minneapolis.
