This is a great little training race series held Tuesday nights. Separate skate and classical races. The 5K lighted trail at Elm Creek is a nice mix of hills and flats.

A weekly Wednesday evening race series in Duluth. Technique alternates between Classic and Freestyle from week to week. The venue rotates between Grand Avenue Nordic Center, Snowflake Nordic Center, Upper Spirit Campground Loop, Lester Park, and Cloquet/Pine Valley. Starts at first good snow; continues into early March, depending on conditions.

Junior National Qualifier racing for the Midwest and Great Lakes divisions, and a collegiate CCSA invitational. Held on the snowmaking trails at the Grand Avenue Nordic Center, hosted by the Duluth Ski Club.

Welcome winter with Skaği (Skaw-Dee), Norse goddess of skiers, in Skaği's Chase Nordic ski race. Choose from the citizen 8K race or the high school and middle school 4K race. The Loon Award will be presented to the top finisher in each category. Random door prize drawings for both races will be also be awarded.

An interval start, pop-up race on the Swedetown Trails. Registration is race day only, 9-10:15 am, with a $20 suggested donation. Prizes will be awarded to the top 3 male and female skiers in three age groups.

Racing on manmade snow. Two races: Masters first, then Juniors. Masters race teams of 2, juniors race can have teams of 2 to 6 skiers. Elite juniors have option to compete in masters race.

Cancelled due to inadequate snow conditions. Early season race taking full advantage of the outer loop trail system. Racing on the challenging terrain of Woodland Trails. Two laps for the 20k, one lap for 10k. Registration will open only once snow arrives if it is groomable and in good condition.

Ski, bike or run self-supported race on the Tuscobia State Trail. Start locations and times dependent on race entered. All races finish at the KC Hall, Park Falls, WI.

Cancelled due to low interest. Open to all skiers, divisions include Master and Junior/High School. Freestyle race but classic skiers may race and tracks will be set. The 5km race is a memorial event in honor of Osseo Coach Brad Rosch. Register online (limited race day registration).
