This informal Wednesday night race series at Wirth Park is based on two-person relays with a different format each week. Bring a partner or sign up to be matched with a skier of similar ability. Adult, child and adult/child divisions. High school teams welcome, but must pre-register. Great way to introduce kids and adults to racing or get your interval workout in.

World-class trails take you over challenging climbs, across prairies, and through native Minnesota maple and basswood forests. 26K skiers extend their challenging climbs on Hyland Hills Ski Area. 10K racers will enjoy the rolling hills on an intermediate course. Also sit-skier 3K course and kids 1K course. Fat Bike races in afternoon and evening.

Freestyle course is a mixture of rolling hills, climbs, descents, and technical challenges. Classic course will use a 4K double-track loop that traverses the south side of the park and travels almost entirely through woodlands. The 15k and 12K races are Michigan Cup points events. A point to point race, running from Ishpeming to Marquette. Multiple wave starts. Freestyle starts 40 minutes after classical. Last half of the race is almost all downhill. Finishes at Marquette's Superior Dome. Fat Bike races on Sunday.

A casual, fun winter triathlon with ski, fat bike and snowshoe run. Rent a bike, skis or snowshoes locally if needed. Great way to try out a new winter sport.

This is a great community race with scenic trails. Held at William O'Brien State Park. Once around park for 12km and twice around for 25km. There's also great kids races with age appropriate distances starting at 1:45PM! Again this year is a 8km wooden ski tour that starts with the classic race.

The Arrowhead Winter Ultra is an ultramarathon race on bike, foot or skis, covering 135 miles across the Arrowhead Region of Northern Minnesota from International Falls near the Canadian border to Tower, MN.

A weekly Wednesday evening race series in Duluth. The venue rotates between Snowflake, Grand Ave, Lester Park and Pine Valley. Starts at first good snow; continues into early March, depending on conditions.

This is a great little training race series held Wednesday nights. Separate skate and classical races. The 5K lighted trail at Elm Creek is a nice mix of hills and flats.
