City of Lakes Loppet Saturday Coverage

Refusing to give in to one of the worst winters on record, the City of Lakes Loppet pulled off their Saturday event schedule with all the action taking place at Theodore Wirth Park in Minneapolis. Ice-cycle races, ski-jor races, sprints and kids races were followed in the evening by a luminary hike that drew huge crowds. Sunday will feature the skate and freestyle races on the snowmaking loop.
