Trail Loppet Coverage
September 23, 2017Temperatures in the 80s and high dewpoints made for some difficult running conditions Saturday for the annual Trail Loppet events at Theodore Wirth. Craig Cardinal took the half marathon title with Eric Giandelone second and Joel LaFrance closing for third. Josie Nelson collected another womens title, winning by over three minutes as Heather Hlavaty took second and Lindsay Annis rounded out the podium in third. Brian and Caitlin Gregg won the 13.1K race titles. Victories in the 5K went to James Zacchini and Brittani Lamb. Photos posted from the half marathon and 13.1K events, race results linked in.
