November 2, 2019The road to the Minneapolis World Cup in March kicked off on Saturday with a set of chilly rollerski races on the streets of downtown Minneapolis. After juniors started off the racing, things heated up with the elite mens race as crowds witnessed a true photo finish between Twin Cities native Kyle Bratrud and sprinter Andy Newell, Newell taking the win by millimeters! Jessie Diggins blasted away in the womens top field and celebrated with the crowd on her final lap. After awards, a huge crowd lined up for autographed posters from Diggins.
