Welch MTB Jam Coverage
August 13, 2006Moisture was the theme of the day at the Welch MTB Jam Sunday. For most of the day, moisture was in the form of high dewpoints, making it very humid for the morning races. A very light rain came and went near the end of the Sport race, then about half way through the Comp/Expert event the floodgates opened for some major downpours. Riders also had to deal with a new addition to the infamous Welch course -- a wall climb that humbled the majority of the racing field.
