An urban point-to-point race! Starts at Lake Bde Maka Ska and finishes at Theodore Wirth. There are also 10K tour event, and skijor, ice bike, kids races, Kubb and the post-race party!

There is also 3K and 5K high school/middle school races and a kids races.

A candlelit, evening race for skiers and snowshoers of all abilities and ages. The course runs from Ashland to Bird Island (just south of Washburn) and back, across Chequamegon Bay.

This is the big one for lower Michigan. Race starts and finishes at Timber Ridge Resort. Beautiful and challenging trail through State Forest. Two day combined Grand Champion title as well.

Junior National Qualifier racing for the Midwest and Great Lakes divisions, and a CCSA invitational and SuperTour race. Held on the snowmaking trails at Theodore Wirth, hosted by the Loppet Foundation. Alternatively known as the Mayor's XC Ski Challenge.

Ski races in the heart of the Iron Range, offering an opportunity for both recreational and competitive skiers to enjoy a timed challenge/race on the beautiful trails of Carey Lake in Hibbing, MN. Division awards, as well as top male/female in 11K.

A fun family day at Hidden Valley Recreation Area. There is a Hot Cocoa Cup Kids Race designed for children 10 and under, which is free, and a 5k Fun Race (costumes encouraged). Walking tacos and snacks will be available in the Chalet along with live music.

Enjoy a challenging four loop course for 10K or an easier two loop 5K at Rochester's Gamehaven Nordic Trails on the snow-making Rattler loop (~2.5K).

Hosted by the Northern Kettle Moraine Nordic (NKMN) Storm Ski Team, the Greenbush Challenge offers adult and youth races on the Greenbush Trails in the Kettle Moraine State Forest.

Uses the wonderful trails at Lappe Nordic Centre. Kids events days as well.

In 2017 the Kortelopet moved to it's own date, and now starts at Hwy OO and finishes on the streets of Hayward.

The course runs entirely on the top notch ski trails at Giant's Ridge. There always seem to be great snow and great grooming.

Held on the wide trail system at Rainbow Resort. There is also a 6K tour.

Cap off the winter season with some fun! Complete one or two laps of the 6k race course. Costumes are encouraged for all races. Racers receive a complementary hot meal and beverage. Also a 2k Beat The Bunny untimed ski race geared towards kids aged 12 and under.

A weekly Wednesday evening race series in Duluth. Technique alternates between Classic and Freestyle from week to week. The venue rotates between Spirit Mountain Nordic Center, Snowflake Nordic Center, Upper Spirit Campground Loop, Lester Park, and Cloquet/Pine Valley. Starts at first good snow; continues into early March, depending on conditions.

Thursday night race series at Lappe Nordic (generally every other Thursday). Events include: relays, obstacle course, sprints, as well as some standard race formats.

A virtual event featuring the Claire de Loon 5K, the Flowage 15K, the MECCA 30K, and the Turtle River Skiathlon (10K classic, 10K skate, 2 legs combined time).

Held on the lighted trails at Lapham Peak, online registration preferred. There are also youth and high school series, which start earlier at 5:15 pm and 6 pm. An individual start race is held on Wednesday afternoon to replace the Tuesday Time Trial races.

This informal Wednesday night race series at Wirth Park is based on two-person relays with a different format each week. Bring a partner or sign up to be matched with a skier of similar ability. Adult, child and adult/child divisions. High school teams welcome, but must pre-register. Great way to introduce kids and adults to racing. New in 2025: One night will be at Battle Creek!
