NORDIC SKIING STATE MEET BANQUET
When: THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 12, 20086:00-7:30 PM
Where: The Chalet at Giant's Ridge
Menu: Spaghetti with meatballs, salad, breadsticks, lemonade.
How much: $15.00 per person
Maximum seating in chalet is 275
No RSVP necessary
Tickets will be sold at the front desk of the chalet starting at 4:30 on Feb. 12th. They will not be reserved but will be sold in the following order: 4:30-5:30 tickets will be sold only to qualifying athletes and teams and their coaches; 5:30-6:00 remaining tickets will be sold to everyone (teammates, parents, friends, etc.).
Why attend: To honor and recognize the hard working athletes and teams that have qualified for the state meet. To honor the athletes and teams that have earned academic awards. To honor and recognize the hard working coaches in our state through the presentation of Coach, Assistant Coach and Volunteer of the year awards. This banquet is the only time during the year that high school Nordic skiers and their coaches can gather to celebrate the great sport that is Nordic skiing. It is very important to our kids and leaves a lasting impression on them. Support your coaching association and support your kids!
