Elm Creek Series Results

Conditions: Temperature: 22F, windchill 11F, firm base, glare in some sections of skating lanes of the Valley trail; the classic tracks were very well set. It was a fantastic night for both skate and classic skiers. The race course was set on the full 5K loop including Valley, Thicket and Northern Light trails.

Race distance: 5K, both classic and freestyle, mass start.

It was a lung burner with the noticeable wind-chill and a night of great efforts by a smaller group of racers. Jacob held his lead from the beginning to the end. Tim and Andrea posted another good race time tonight. Mark shaved an impressive one minute and half on his classic race after shaving almost a minute on the skate race. Great work, Mark!!!
