Buena Vista Snowjourn Rscheduled to Jan 27th

The 2024 Buena Vista Snowjourn 12km cross country ski race and tour, originally scheduled for Saturday, January 13th has been rescheduled to Saturday, January 27th due to no snow trail conditions. As of January 3rd, the 10-day extended weather forecast has no significant snowfall projected. Thus, Snowjourn race organizers are hopeful that skiable snowfall will arrive and be race ready by the 27th. The format for the 2024 Buena Vista Snowjourn remains the same, as in past years, featuring 12km skate and classical races and a variable distance tour. Additionally, there will be a 5km middle school skate race and recognition of skiers donning traditional wood skis and woolens. Food, awards, and door prizes will be held in the Hall of Fame building following the race.
