Individuals

Reigning champion Linnea Ousdigian, Mounds View, will not be defending her title as she has spent much the past two weeks racing overseas (and standing on podiums!). Ousdigian's closest competitor last season was Wayzata's Lila Golomb and the Coaches Association rightly pushed her to the number one ranking. Looking to upset that order are a number of girls including Brainerd's Annelise Baird, Minnetonka's Evie Malec, Eleanor Mody of SPA, along with Avery Rich, Bloomington Jefferson/Kennedy, and Caroline Arvold, Duluth East.
while Logan Drevlow, Hopkins, the boys champion is returning, he's recovering from an injury that kept him out of most competitions this season. That opens the door for a number competitors including his own teammate, Bridger Nelson, Stillwater's George Nelson, Minnetonka's Peter Hackney, Soren Winikoff of SPA, Ely's Oliver Hohenstein and Andrew Berndt fo Sartell.
Teams
According to the Coaches Association final rankings, Duluth East girls and Stillwater boys are favorites. The girls teams of Stillwater, SPA, Wayzata and Minneapolis schools of Southwest and Washburn will all be in contention, along with the boys teams of Hopkins, Ely, Duluth East, Minneapolis Washburn, and Moorhead.
Once again, we'll plan to have same day coverage.
