    The warm weather and rain greatly deteriorated the conditions on the Birkie's snowmaking loop in Cable. The Hayward Holiday Dash races have been cancelled for this season.

    Organizers are monitoring the weather and forecast. They are hoping temperatures will finally cool below freezing late Tuesday might early Wednesday when they can then assess the situation moving forward.
