  Merry Christmas! Race Update: Soldier Hollow is in final preparations for the 2024 US National Cross Country Ski Championships. We are finishing 4 race courses of 1.55K sprint, 2.5K distance, 3.3K distance, 1K sit ski sprint, and the biathlon and cross country stadiums. We have 1 week till our first official training day. We continue to make snow nightly as the temps allow. The conditions on all race courses, stadiums, and open recreational trails are excellent. Trails are 6-9m wide and .75-1m in depth. Weather continues to be above average day time temps, but the nights are now cold enough to make mass quantities of snow. The Championship and Super Tour week will happen and race trail and venue conditions will be excellent. The biathlon stadium alone has over 13,500 cubic meters of snow. Crews have been crushing the work and helping Mother Nature where it is lacking.
