Notes

The cross-country ski trails consist of multiple loops ranging from gently rolling to steep climbs and winds through a diverse forest and an open meadow. The entire ski trail is groomed for skate skiing while loops 1 & 2 have tracks set for classic skiing.

Entire skate deck was groomed and classic tracks were set on loop 1 only. With the cold temperatures the trail should firm up and be in great shape. As the weather warms, the trail may become icy.

My first time there. Unlike Wintergreen, lots of room for skating. Not a long trail system, but scenic. Two way trails help make it seem longer.
Gentle except for maybe two good hills to climb.

Entire trail system was groomed and tracked. The 10+ inches of new snow groomed up and tracked great. With the cool temperatures the skate deck and track should firm up for some great weekend skiing.

Ski Trail was last groomed two weeks ago. With the 1" of rain we received Tuesday, followed by freezing temperatures, the trail is solid packed frozen snow. Additional grooming will not be possible until we get more snow. Skiing not recommended at this time.

Trail was rolled, combed and groomed on on Saturday after the completion of the Phillips Flurry snowshoe race and is nice shape for skate skiing. No Classic tracks were set. Grooming plans: Will re-set classic tracks at the next grooming.
