Firsthand: Classic
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
Freshly groomed and in great condition at 28 degrees today, it was perfect. The hills are moderate and there are no sharp turns at the bottom of most, which makes for great skiing without the need to snowplow. Most hills can be climbed without the need to herringbone.

Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
Groomed/tracked system minus a short alternate return section. The trails are in great shape including the hill that was damaged by people walking, sliding. Skied trails after grooming. Should set up nicely overnight and be great for the weekend.

Beautiful conditions today. The back loop hill is rough, but if you know it's coming you'll be okay, snowplow! Perfect day for 8k.

The track was great, fast and great kick. The only problem was some people walked a section of the last loop and slid down the big hill in the middle of the last loop. We skied in the tracks as best we could. It is ok now, and the rest of the trail is so perfect it was kind of a shame.

Trail had been groomed a day before, but 2 inches of fluff snow fell since. People had skied on the trail that morning, so the tracks were nearly perfect with good glide. I forgot how hilly this trail is, a good workout. I saw 10 people skiing, but it was a Saturday.

Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
Finished up clearing grooming and setting track on the section of trail that returns to parking lot via the big hill. So now, 100% has been groomed and tracked. However, Hiram totally missed out on the recent snowfall, except for a slight dusting and so the majority of the system has not been groomed post holidays, but is still in good shape.

It's beautiful! Nicely groomed in great shape. We did all 8k and it was just about perfect! If you've not visited here, this is classic only, with gentle, rolling hills for the most part.
