I really enjoyed my first trip to the Porkies. The vistas were incredible and the woods were beautiful. I’m glad I went back and switched to B skis after 10 minutes. The snow is not that deep and there are several areas where grooming has dug up ground. It’s listed as a multi-use trail and some sections only put a track on one side which works much better than tracks on both sides which leads to both tracks getting trashed. FYI if you go to the west vista the view is awesome but there's a killer hill coming down with a sharp curve to navigate while dodging tracks and uneven ground.
