Grooming
[ Trails Open: Partial, B skis ]
Neil groomed Lilly's, or at least a part of it, Saturday morning, until the snowmobile overheated. So we will have a brief window of skiing this morning before it turns slushy again later today. In 2 weeks we will have a book event out here at 2 pm, Winter's Children. Check Beagle and Wolf for details.

Afternoon
Firsthand: Freestyle
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
Good conditions all around, with 2" new snow on smooth, hardpacked groomed trails. Snow depth remains around 2' with a foot of packed base. Lots of interesting tracks on the trail after last night's snow, including all the local canids!

Morning
Firsthand: Freestyle
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
Excellent conditions on Lilly's, Lake and Eagle, which were groomed yesterday. The Ginzu blades brought up enough soft snow to refresh the trail nicely. It's still fast, but they took the last pass dead center, so the skate lane is flat and smooth again. Classic trails were good from previous grooming, but of course the red oaks are beginning to shed their winter coat. Troll and it's hills remain pretty crusty, ski with caution. We had a nice group of families out Sunday teaching their kids to ski and cooking brats around the campfire.

Afternoon
Firsthand: Freestyle
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
Excellent skating and classic on Lilly's and Eagle, ( easy, intermediate) after they were groomed yesterday. Even the little hills are fast and exciting. Troll (advanced, with a few steep hills) and lake have not been groomed and are icy, ski at your own risk.

Afternoon
Firsthand: Freestyle
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
Conditions fair, with icy spots on hills and any sun-exposed, north-south areas. Skate lane is good in shady spots and uneven in others, but groomers plan to go over everything Friday to smooth it out and widen some narrow spots. Use B skis if you're particular, should be good by weekend.

Afternoon
Firsthand: Both
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
Here and there, a bit icy with scattered debris, but overall very much skiable, enjoyable, and fast. I skated on Eagle's Trail and Lilly's Trail, then did some classic on Troll and Island Trail - total of 22 K. Extra caution is in order on the slopes downhill. Enjoy!

Afternoon
Firsthand: Freestyle
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
Trails are generally pretty good, with classic tracks looking really nice in the shade but a bit glazed in the sunny spots. It's been 31 today, 37 yesterday, so getting a taste of early spring conditions. The skate lane has been skied a lot on Lilly's and Eagle, and that accentuates some uneven or grooved spots. Otherwise it's generally good, fast and firm. We skied around noon today, it was a bit soft yesterday late afternoon.

Afternoon
Firsthand: Classic Secondhand
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
Pristine conditions, with 7" new snow from Monday/Tuesday and more from the the previous weekend. Groomers are just getting out today after some subzero days kept them at home! Lilly's and Eagle will have classic tracks and skate lanes done today, looks great so far. The rest of the area will be groomed tomorrow. Enjoy all the snow and moderating temps.

Afternoon
Firsthand: Classic
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
A nice afternoon on the trails, I have never been in this park before. The entire trail system was groomed a few days ago both for skating and classic. Soft, yet fast and fun, ideal for my classic wooden skis, total of 21 K. Quite a few locals on the trails in the afternoon, most of them did skating. Enjoy!
