Stopped by Shingobee in the late afternoon. Temp had warmed up quickly softening the snow. It was hard to tell if had been recently groomed. Having skied here before and knowing the extreme technical nature of the trail I opted out of skiing the trails and instead did some tele turns with the JibSkates on the big sledding hill. This is one of the gnarliest trails I have skied in the Midwest with some fantastic vistas and about as old school goodness as it gets. It's amazing they still allow sledding here and got a kick out of the signage. Unless there is new snow, it might be tough to ski here the remainder of the year. Was really hoping to get here earlier in the season with the abundance of snow in the area. If you like on the edge skiing, this is place to check out in the future.

Lots of snow. There are classic trails laid through most, but not all segments. No formal grooming as of today. It’s very pretty out there!
