Mostly great skiing at giants ridge today. Silver, gold, and cedar were all freshly groomed and fantastic. It did start to slow a bit in areas of sun exposure by 1 pm, which almost caused a fall when my ski suddenly gripped on a downhill. I also did the outer loop of trails which were a little slow with about 1/2 inch of new snow. Main challenge on the outer trails were fat bike ruts which tripped me up once. Laurentian and wynne creek were the most rutted. Overall a great ski though!

What a season! Thanks to the meticulous grooming at Giants Ridge the most difficult aspect of taking an incredible photo was stopping. One shot each of Gold, Cedar and Silver loops to provide a glimpse of the experience. Conditions were outstanding.

Skied Northern Lights, Laurentian, Summit and Gold trails all classic tracks are perfect, skate decks are level with all trails groomed after the warmup. I can't think of better conditions in the past 36 years!

Superb spring skiing at Giants Ridge today. Gold, Cedar, Silver and Northern Lights trails all in great condition. Sliver is groomed only for skating, but the other three have classic tracks which are in impeccable condition.

Quite simply it doesn't get any better than the current conditions at the Ridge. Tracks are firm and fast, spectacular!

Awesome grooming for both classic and skating this weekend at The Ridge! Silver Trail was skate only. Other trails both classic and skate. A big couple weeks coming up with Section 7 and State Meet.

Absolutely wonderful conditions today and yesterday at Giants Ridge! All trails completely covered. Fresh corduroy everywhere. Tracks were solid and deep. This is the best skiing I've had in a while. Such a nice change from man-made snow courses. Highly recommend making a trip there!

The trails I skied today at Giant's Ridge were in excellent condition. The Gold and Cedar loops were recently groomed, the Silver trail had about 1" of light snow on top but still made for great skiing. Nice firm skating deck, perfect temp.

2” of fresh tilled in with old snow gave excellent tracks and skating deck. Today’s temps in the mid 20’s gave us just a perfect mid January ski.
