Morning
Firsthand: Classic
[ Good skis ]
We arrived at 9:30 am and skied Summit to Wynne Creek and Laurentian. We classic skied and the conditions were stellar. All the trails had been groomed the day before. The grooming crew did a wonderful job. Hope we can ski again this coming week.

Absolutely phenomenal at 9:15 am (arrival). Getting a bit squeaky by 11:45 (departure). It was 12 degrees last night. All trails appeared to be groomed in the last 24hrs and Summit/Bronze/NorthernLights were freshly groomed this morning best I could tell. I skied the Pepsi course and then some. Wonderful!

There is a lot of snow up here and today was a lot of fun. Northern Lights, Summit, Cedar, Bronze and possibly Silver were groomed. Bonus: northern lights tonight. It would be worth the drive this weekend if you don't live in the area.

All the trails were open and recently groomed. With a fresh dusting of snow, conditions were nearly perfect. We skied Silver (part, no classic tracks set), Laurentian, Wyne Creek, Summit (partial), most of Gold.

All trails beautifully groomed-Gold/Silver freshly done. Skied Bronze/upper Gold/Summit/Silver/Biwabik Spur and half of Oslo. ( Didn't mean to sell GR short yesterday as I didn't notice Wynne Creek nor Oslo conditions, I always assume that lighted loop good.).

What fun to ski the trails of the old GR classic back in the late 80's. Great conditions since they had probably gotten 1-3" of snow mid week. It was freshly groomed on Oslo, Bronze, summit, and northern lights. Our old klister with wax over it did great most of the time. Great striding trails.

Approx 25km freshly groomed last night, including Northern Lights, Summit, Bronze, Oslo, Biwabik Spur and Wynne Creek. Silver, Gold and Cedar have not been restored since the HS races this week. Thanks to 2-3" fresh snow after the midweek rain, conditions are excellent. 99% debris free and no icy spots... Summit/Bronze are Pisten Bully perfect. Enjoy!
