[ Trails Open: Partial, B skis ]
I went and tried the Deer Lake loop, it is partially closed due to downed trees. It did not seem to have been groomed at all, however some snowshoers had destroyed the first few downhills while using pre-existing ski tracks. Lots of foot prints from hikers at places, but I rarely mind these, in fact, they helped me break tracks because snow cover is quite reasonably deep. So, overall, more of a backcountry skiing kind of experience, but the views on the lakes are gorgeous. The Teal Lake trailhead blue loop was rolled once but too narrow for a good skate ski and no classic tracks. Kind of strange, but the feeling I had is that this place looks left behind.

A bit of wet snow for minimal glide on the Upper Noque trail at Al Quaal. Only 4 months off snow in the U.P this year.
