We had a great time skiing the brown and purple trails at 3pm. Some slush and muddy spots but easy to ski around them. Overall a good experience and great to get some fresh air!

Got to Nordic just before noon and just as the groomer got done rolling the skating lanes. The 6" of wet snow rolled down to about a 2" base. Not enough to set a classic track. A little soft and slow, but good coverage the entire green loop. Very few bare spots, fair to good conditions overall. If it freezes up tonight it should be even better tomorrow morning. Thanks groomers!

Trails were in good condition in the morning. All trails were open but the hilliest blue segment. A few tree roots starting to show through on the steepest hills. Should still be skiable on Sunday with some caution.

The trails have good cover, albeit thin. There is some debris and an occasional exposed rock on a hill top. There was no overnight grooming which left the surface a little uneven, but overall the skiing was very good.

Did the White, purple, and part of the green. With new 5" snow that was rolled and packed in the morning. As expected the snow was compressed to a base of 2"-2 1/2"which made it lumpy and uneven. Skating was a little challenging but still enjoyable. Groomer could not do parts of the blue loop. The tracks for the strikers had many areas of bare ground.

Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
All trails at Nordic have been packed and rolled. Track was set on the purple loop, but none of the others due to the compaction revealing debris underneath. Blue Loop hills were not groomed due to underlying ice. Too slick for the grooming equipment to make it to the top, so we avoided altogether. Use caution in that area - skate deck should still be in good condition. All other trails at Nordic should be in good to very good condition. Temps are holding near 20*F and the sun is shining. Enjoy!

I skied blue and thought with the continued warm temps, this may have been the last hurrah for me. Many bare spots and quite a bit of debris, though not as many rocks as I would have thought. The end of blue shared with white was by far the worst section with some large open grassy sections. I'd recommend sticking to the northern side for the best coverage. Thanks to the groomers who keep trying with little to work with! Glad I came out!

Kudos to the groomer today. The trails were just groomed and new tracks set. It was a perfect day for skiing full sun and spring conditions. Nordic was in much better condition then when I skied at Mc Miller. Only a few grass patches. I would highly recommend skiing Tuesday!

More brown/bare spots today compared to yesterday. With the sun and no clouds, it softened the trail faster with the slightly warm temperatures. Skied purple, white, and orange. B skies for today was fine. Pray for another winter storm in southern Wisconsin to help finish out our ski season!

Skied the Nordic for the first time this year and was awesome. Arrived 7am to a freshly groomed trail. Skied two blue laps with black-firm deck total cover with a few brown spots-downhills not an issue- the pines area was a little thin in spots. First lap nice but then stated to warm up so was slower. By mid morning parking lot was full. Tracks were pretty much in tact with few brown spots as well.
