Skied the purple and orange loops this evening (around 6:30pm). The snow coverage is pretty good-there aren't any bare spots but there are a few icy patches. However, the trails have been walked on quite a bit, so it was difficult to skate as the deck is so uneven (the orange loop was worse than the purple). It's too bad because the skiing would probably be OK otherwise-it's a lot more snow coverage than I expected! There are some classic tracks but these are also better in some places than others. Pictures represent a variety of conditions from throughout.

Time the trails between frozen and thawed and the classic and skating are both fun as it's fairly fast. Thursday afternoon was great.

The groomer was at the park around 11 am, making several passes on the skate deck and then laying beautiful (!) classic tracks as I was leaving. With the new snow, rolled deck, and now fresh grooming, the trails were pristine. The skate deck was soft but absolutely glorious.

It hasn't been all the way groomed since the last snow dump so no tracks. It was choppy and fast. Still enjoyed some time outside.

The trail was groomed yesterday, but the melting afternoon sun and then freezing overnight temps made it borderline scary. If temps warm up above freezing and soften things up, it should be in good condition.

Beautiful morning at Rum River. Skate track a groomed hard pack in most areas but not icy. Classic trails looked in good shape with 1-2 tracks around all trails. Occasional minor leaves and a couple small twigs. Enjoyed the peaceful, scenic views.

Tracks mostly set throughout green and purple run. Oak leaves down in a few areas, but still a good ski!

Excellent condition! Groom is great. Classic tracks and wide skate track. Groomer was refreshing while I was skiing.

Completed purple and green loop. A fun mix of ice, slush and good snow but the tracks were set and it was a beautiful day. Not too many oak leaves down.

Trails were in great shape with the snow from this past week. Everything seemed well groomed with plenty of people out enjoying the trails.
