Amazing day and fresh groomed trails to boot! Used glide wax on top of skins to avoid sticking. We did ski over the river crossing where the groomer worked hard not to fall all the way in. Rather than continue across the road or backtrack across the river we broke trail at the cutover section#11-12.

Trail was groomed today after 3" new snow yesterday. Come on out and enjoy the beautiful weather the next few days. Looking at the forecast, it might be the last grooming of the season.

Trails had a couple inches of new snow over the groomed tracks. Conditions are still very good and the new powdery snow made even the biggest hills manageable.

I arrived at 2:30 PM and was amazed to see only one other car in the lot on a gorgeous Sunday in February. Grooming was excellent with almost no debris on trails. I always enjoy the remote feeling feeling of the beauteous coniferous forest at Mother Bear. Many thanks to the groomer for his tireless efforts to maintain this first rate trail system.

After a week of plus 40 degree temperatures, followed by over 1/2" of rain, it was a challenge to set a nice track with our equipment; but it was groomed to the best of our ability. Some trash of pine needles and twigs on the trail.
