Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
Groomed double wide and tracked all of Cedar, channel, Isles and Maka Ska. Morning trails were perfect, soft in afternoon sun. Check out a new loop on north end of Isles just to mix it up.

Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
Groomed all the lakes, mostly smoothing out the skate decks as the classic track was still in good shape.. Generally really nice conditions for skate and classic. Few icy spots in the channel and very icy in the tunnel between Brownie and Cedar.

The team was finally able to get through the channel and therefore Cedar, Brownie, the land routes around Cedar, Lake of the Isles and Maka Ska are now groomed. Isles and Maka Ska are now repaired and groomed, Isles and Cedar are tracked. Maka Ska to be tracked this afternoon. Beautiful skiing right in the city!

Grooming
[ Trails Open: Most, Good skis ]
Newly groomed and tracked Cedar Lake, Brownie and the land routes on the west and northeast of Cedar. Trails are in great condition after the last snow has settled though there are some windblown sections where the snow is thin on top of the previous layer of ice meltdown. Note that we are still not able to groom completely through the channel to Lake of the Isles and Bde Maka Ska due to the LRT construction and barriers that prevent the sled and groomer from getting through. We are trying to find an alternative and will groom Isles and Maka Ska as soon as we have one.

Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
Groomed and set tracks on Cedar and Brownie. Still somewhat soft conditions, but excellent coverage. Was able to get a roller through the channel and rolled Isles and Bde Make Ska. Again soft conditions but it makes skating on them possible.

Grooming
[ Trails Open: Partial, Rock skis ]
Just groomed Cedar for skate and classic. Better than I thought. Did my best to break up footprints and fatbike tracks. Could not get through Kenilworth channel. Groomer is too wide to fit through coffer dam and break wall.

Grooming
[ Trails Open: Partial, Good skis ]
Groomed a new trail on Cedar Lake on the inside of the Loppet course (which is a scary sheet of rutted ice). Was unable to do anything with the land sections. It's not perfect, still a few short icy sections, but overall is quite skiable and there are classic tracks as well. Did not venture over to Brownie or Isles.

I went over to the "Chain of lakes" hoping to ski on the untracked crust. All of the connectors were horrible ice but Brownie, Cedar and Calhoun were actually ski-able, if you stayed off of the trails. Lake of the Isles was also completely trampled by the Luminary event.
