Firsthand: Classic 
[ Trails Open: All, B skis ]
Mixed conditions ranging from good to poor. The skate lane had been groomed fairly recently, but the classic tracks were not. Thaw and re-freeze left ice in the tracks. Skied the full 8K stem and loop from the Superior National Forest visitor center. Lots of debris like pine needles and cones in the trail. Would not recommend until there's fresh snow and a new grooming.

Groomed yesterday. Decent classic track, skate lane is already rough from multiuse traffic. Parked at the Forest Service center off of Hwy 169 east of downtown. With the scenic 1km access trail, this made for a pleasant 8km outing. Plenty of deer and wolf sign.
