Simply spectacular. 2-3" of fresh snow overnight and lightly snowing during my ski. Freshly groomed this morning. Doesn't get any better, especially in March!

We stayed at Hestons Lodge for a long weekend and enjoyed five days of amazing skiing on this trail system. Grooming, trail variety, and views were all excellent. We will definitely be back.

First time out at the Upper Gunflint's wondrous trail system and enjoyed a few days here. Pristine is the word, simply an excellent combination of great snow, great trails and consistent grooming. I'd highly recommend a visit, it's worth the extra effort.

Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
We received a fresh 3 inches of snow and sent our groomer out early this morning to reset the trail system! Upon returning, they reported trails are in nice condition with a few areas with some brush still poking out, but easy to avoid. With cold weather, make sure to wear layers and some decent face coverings while out on the trail system. The warming huts on Lonely Lake, Rabbit Run, and Ham Lake trails are currently closed for maintenance, so plan accordingly!

Happy New Year! We hope you are off to a brilliant 2022! The entire Upper Gunflint Ski trail system was groomed after our last big snow on December 28th and people have been enjoying them immensely. Temperatures are currently below zero, but we have seen large amounts of people bundled up and out on the trails and hearing good reports on conditions. This season, weekly reports will be updated every Thursday and as a reminder, dogs are only allowed on Amperage trail. We hope to see you out on the trails enjoying this beautiful area!
