Great snow + great grooming = great skiing. There were leaves in the tracks in a few places, but the wind has caused surprisingly little trouble. Tracks were solid; snow was excellent.

I needed to beat down a few drifts using just the snowmobile on the northern areas of the trail system due to drifting. Then pulled ginzu groomer and set track on all trails.

Thanks to recent snow and great morning grooming, classic skiing was great! I used my skins, and only encountered one or two sticky spots from the afternoon sun in my couple laps of the outer loop. Trails were pristine! Thank you, Bryan, for being so attentive to trails and conditions. Fun! Ski on!

With the deep track set last week and only light snows since then, I was able to easily stay in the classic tracks. The light snow covered any icy sections due to warm temps earlier.

Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
Due to considerable blowing, drifting and even an inch of new snow since yesterday's grooming, I re-groomed the trails today with very good results.

3+ inches of snow today. Groomed all trails and set track. Wind blown snow still occuring after grooming, so open areas will have a snow covered classic track in those areas.
