[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
What great trails. I skied all the loops in the southeast portion of system from #3 to the SE on both sides of County Road. I was the first person to ski on the new half inch or so of light cold snow and skiing was smooth, good glide, quiet. The trails must have been groomed quite recently because they were very well-defined on a well-packed and smooth base. No rocks or debris of any kind. Beautiful conditions in a beautiful, quiet, and initiate forested setting. Especially loved the trail that goes through the open bog.

[ Trails Open: Most, Rock skis ]
Tracks are set on the loop near the lake as well as the eastern loops south of the highway. And the trail is packed from those loops west to the parking lot near Hoyte Lakes. It sure is bumpy and rocky out there, if you go, rock skis for sure! Wouldn't recommend skiing between intersections 8 and 4. Until next time, thinking snowy thoughts.
