Morning
Firsthand: Classic
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
First time these trails were tracked this year. We skied the River and Aspen trails. There were a few spots where the snow was thin, but still covered. More snow is needed. It just felt so darn good to get out. Good job grooming.

Morning
Firsthand: Classic
[ Trails Open: All, B skis ]
Good conditions for classic skiing with solid base, deep tracks, and smooth glide. Skate deck looked like it could have used some smoothing out in the middle, but seemed sufficient most of the way. Enjoyed the trails all to ourselves, with nearly ideal weather. A lovely, interesting route in reach from GB, and definitely worth the short trip!

Grooming

All trails are in good condition groomed with about 2" base. There are some areas with ice at the surface of the trail. We won't track until we get more snow. Great for skate skiing.

Skied Aspen loop 3.5k and base is holding up in 95% of area on trail but very icy conditions. Lots of hiker foot traffic as well. There are areas on trail of ice ponds but you can still manage to ski by if not over. No set tracks are visible.

First time we were ever skied at this place and its awesome! Wide, scenic trails along the Pestigo river with great terrain and flow. A little short on distance, but nothing an additional loop wouldn't d solve. Plenty of hills too. Snow was pretty soft and slow, but it had been recently groomed and we were the first tracks on much of the system so it was really nice. Hopefully it will firm up a bit with the warmer weather. No classic tracks. What a pleasant addition to the area! We will be back for sure and have a feeling this will become a very popular destination in the year's to come for NE Wisconsin skiers.
