Nicely wooded trail. Groomed only to smooth, no classic tracks were set. Walking, snowshoeing, skiing, and dogs all on the same trail. The grooming kept it smooth, but it is multi-use (picture taken point 4 to 5 on the map). I skied the largest loop (Mader Loop and Matterhorn Trail combined) and found the same conditions throughout. The trails are one way and marked. In this weather I saw one skier leaving as I arrived, one skiing towards me on the trail, a photographer, and a dogwalker, so not much traffic. A nice, long, gentle downhill next to the lake was a delightful break in the last part of the trail. Beautiful day for a ski without the wind.
