Best conditions of the year! Turkey Hollow, Prairie, and Cathedral Tree Drive were all awesome tonight. Everything has firmed up nicely with the recent cold weather.

Lots of snow, all trails rolled and groomed. Great classical track. Skating lanes should be firm after tonight.

Skate skied the Prairie Trail and Cathedral Tree Drive. Prairie is definitely the best skating spot. Classic skied Whitetail and Prairie afterwards and those were groomed nicely as well. Things were a little slow with the fresh snow we got yesterday, but it was still a lot of fun. Thankful for the groomers that were hard at work out there today getting all the trails in good shape for everyone to enjoy!

All trails groomed and tracked. Best skating across the road from the parking area, the Prairie Trail and beyond. Some grass in the set tracks, 90% good. The Turkey Hollow trail is a bit rough, could use more snow.

A hiker walked on all of the ski trails. The conditions would've been good otherwise. Still pretty soft.

Skate skied Turkey Hollow and Cathedral Tree Drive Friday night. Looks like Whitetail and Prairie were rolled as well. There was a classic track set on Cathedral Drive but it looked very thin. Overall conditions were a lot of fun! It was a bit soft but I think the recent dip in temperature will firm things up nicely. Thankful for the park staff getting things rolled for us to enjoy!

Whitetail Loop was rolled for skate skiing (3.17 miles). There was a classic track set for maybe 1/4 mile of the loop, then it stopped. There are some big tire ruts on the trails that make it hard to ski in a few spots. It also looks like footprints all the way around the loop from hikers as well. Overall just happy to enjoy the snow while we've still got it down here.
