My first time here as friends live just one mile away. Snow filled tracks were helped by one skier out before me, but overall soft. I skied both main loops, the back loop twice. There are some long steep hills that don't seem to reward you with equal downhill stretches. A lot of work for a 5 mile ski. Beautiful hardwood forest, but infrequent grooming and lots of climbing hinder the experience. Also plenty of snowshoe and dog traffic that made snowplow turns on the downhills a bit tricky.
