Afternoon
Firsthand: Freestyle Scheduling
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
All trails groomed/combed and tracked Saturday. Skate skied almost all the trails today. Main trails are in excellent condition. The two northern loops are in very good condition but need some more snow to level them out. Very scenic, especially the parts along the Black Creek. Candlelight walk on 2.5 miles of trail this Saturday, February 4th, 7-9 pm.

Afternoon
Firsthand: Classic
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
We found the conditions to be very good with an inch of new snow on the classic tracks. Snow coverage was good except under the hemlocks on the blue trail where it was a bit thin. There was no appreciable debris on the trail. The skating deck was firm, although there was no evidence that anyone had skated since the last grooming. While this is a multi-use trail system, the snowshoers and walkers were very respectful of not messing up the tracks.

Main trails are good to very good for both classic and skating. Two outside loops are groomed for both skating and classic and would be fair to good condition. I skied almost all the trails this afternoon.
