Most sections were freshly groomed (they didn't get much snow overnight, but enough to warrant grooming). Occasional glazing, used some old Swix red. I skied from Lax Lake Rd. and didn't see anyone (or hear any snowmobiles) until I came back through Tettegouche camp. A couple of families with kids had just snowshoed/sledded in for a few days of late winter fun at the cabins. I didn't ski the Mt Baldy trail, took the easy way back from camp to Lax Lake trailhead. Beautiful and peaceful afternoon.

Skied the Tettegouche traverse from the Baptism River trailhead west through Tettegocuche Camp, down the Palisade Valley, and into the Northwood Ski Trail system. It took us about 3.5 hours, with plenty of breaks. Grooming was excellent for classic from the trailhead until Tettegouche Camp. From the camp all the way to Northwood Ski Trails system, the trail had been packed the day before, but not tracked. That was fine with us - still plenty of glide and good pole plants on the firm base. Thank you to the State Park groomers for rolling the connector trail! Northwood Ski Trails were immaculately groomed.

Skied in to Tettegouche Camp from the back entrance and then around the trail by Mic Mac and Nipisiquit. The groomer hasn't been out since the recent snow so we were breaking trail, but the old tracks were still moderately visible. Once they re-groom it should be really nice! The connector to the Northwoods ski trails isn't groomed at all.

Very soft skate deck would recommend classic, no classic tracks set yet. A couple rocks visible on the uphills but overall pretty good conditions.
