Trail Reports

2020-2021 season
Reports 1 to 4 of 4    Month: Feb | Jan | Dec

Firsthand: Classic
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
There were freshly-set tracks everywhere, although there was not enough snow everywhere for great tracks. The lake was good and the rest was just OK. Surprisingly, skating looked worse - it looked like the wind piled the snow on the tracks and left the trail pretty bare (covered, but boilerplate-hard) in a few spots. Not fast at zero, but Toko green was kicking fine and not dog-slow given the temp.

Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, B skis ]
The skate deck has been groomed. The deck has complete coverage, but it is thin. The classic track was not refreshed, there wasn't enough snow depth to do so.

Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
No grass showing after yesterday's snowfall. Classic track set, but soft. Skate deck is pretty good, some ridges of snow left on the sharper corners.

Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, B skis ]
As is true for many metro ski trails, plenty of snow in one spot, swept almost bare in others. It was starting to drift over by the time we finished grooming, but the biggest drifts were smashed flat, and dragged some snow onto the thin areas. It is a short course, about 2k.
