Hiawatha Highlands is a premier destination for winter recreation and sport. Over 50 km of ski trails, 14 km of snowshoeing, as well as Fat Biking trails. Enjoy the soothing sounds of the whispering pines and the magnificent views of their winter wonderland. Trail systems cater from the beginner to the advanced skier and welcomes both classic and skate skiers. There are at least 2KM of lighted trails.

School races on Kinsman today. Blue sky and warming temps. Did Red Pine trail, fast in the steep spots. Plenty of snow, up to 43°F.

Wow, picture perfect skiing on pisten bully grooming. Sampled a few trails at Hiawatha, wishing I had more time and more legs to enjoy more of the about 50 kms available. Lovely trees and views.

Hiawatha groomers rolled a few passes on the ski trail this morning. With the wind picking up, the snow is blowing quite a bit so there are drifts on the trail. Grooming plans: We will continue to pack the new and drifting snow down until we can groom and set a classic track in the next day or so. Enjoy!
