So lovely to be skiing in Illinois on groomed classic tracks. Icing on the cake: these singletrack are hilly and quite technical. There are scattered dirt spot or roots and one rock slab that make me recommend rock skis, but apart from these tracks are firm and deep.

Above average conditions. Nice speed, good pole plants and very few walkers using the trail. The groomer did a quality job. He was out grooming the fat tire trails when I was there.
