Most of the trails are on the golf course, thus pretty open and fairly flat. The course really winds back and forth.

Trail Reports

2019-2020 season

Afternoon
Firsthand: Classic
[ Trails Open: All, B skis ]
We finished skiing here around noon, just as the groomer was unloading. Man-made classic trail was ok (3 out of 5 stars for a Hollywood ranking) but spent quite a bit of energy trying to stay moving forward instead of kicking out sideways. Deck is thin in multiple spots, thanks to the melting. Looking forward to trying this course again after fresh snow.

Phalen has been rolled and skied in. Very nice soft skiing tonight. There is a great skier made classic track along the outside. Plenty of snow no real problems on the just about 4 mile loop.

Trails have been rolled. Conditions are not perfect but the final groom will be done after the holiday. Get out there and enjoy it.

Went to Phalen today after lunch. Must have been there right after the groomers left, conditions were great! A few slushy spots/low spots, but should freeze with colder temps. Should be good and fast in the morning!

Grooming Scheduling

Trails are closed until we get more snow to groom. Right now we only have ice or bare ground to work with. Please visit a man made loop until we can reestablish a trail.

Observation
[ Trails: Closed ]
Attempted skiing today. The rain made it so that the trails are no longer skiable. No set track or grooming.

Firsthand: Classic
[ Trails Open: All, B skis ]
Got on the trail at noon today. Classic track is mostly intact but icy throughout. There are some bare spots throughout as well. Trail is not in the best condition, but it is skiable. The condition is the roughest at the begining, but improves.

Pleasantly surprised by the conditions and amount of snow. My son and I skied one lap after dark on soft fast snow, there were just a few spots of icy snow. Hope it holds out for a few more days.

Trail was just being raked ahead of me as I was classic skiing. Trax were fairly icy - grip tape worked well, but hard wax or fishscales probably wouldn't. Track was perfect for skating, with plenty of snow almost everywhere. This snow should last for a while yet.

Good skating conditions today around noon. Starting to get flat with the warmer temps but very skiable. Grass just starting to show though a few places. One area of damage from tree removal but possible to ski around off trail.
