Piston Bully was out at 1pm, groomed everything. Clean snow, no leaves, some blowing, soft skate deck. Tracks were good, only a few spots of ice or thin snow. Not too many skiers out, should set up good.

Skate deck was very firm and fast (with just the right amount of give to get an edge) at Como this evening. Classic tracks looked to be in decent shape. There were a few spots of ice, but noting that couldn't be avoided. Wonderful evening for a quick ski. Get out there and enjoy it!

Trails were recently groomed when I went out at 1:30 and the classic tracks were set. Skating was a little soft in spots but the high school kids were about to go out at about 3 so it should be nice and fast after they ski it in a bit. Classic track looked great the whole course.

The tracks had not been set this morning, but the skate deck looked like it had been groomed sometime after this last snow.

Skate deck had been groomed with mostly good edging. Classic tracks were either shallow and on softer snow or were icy. Not a pleasant classic ski situation. Best to wait for more snow or more complete grooming for classic skiers. Skaters should proceed carefully on downhills as there are icy spots and some turns at the bottom of some hills.

Started on classic skis in spite about yesterday's comment regarding shallow and icy tracks. Had some kick in places but tracks were frequently glare ice even where skate deck looked OK. Gave up on classic after the second eastward downhill and switched to skate. As reported, the skate deck is mostly skiable with a few glare ice spots in the usual areas. The sharp turns at the bottom of most hills are decent. The one exception: the steep hill from the very top, ice before the threes, between the trees and before the turn at the bottom of the hill. I don't do this often but I opted to walk. Most skate skiers opted to go clockwise.

Freshly groomed and very skiable despite being quite icy. Care is needed on downhill corners. Tracks were not reset and were icy and shallow.

Trails groomed and good for skating. It was in the area and it was a good use of time but beware of about 5ish sizeable icy patches especially on NW downhill. Don't recommend for newbys.
I found largish mens warm black glove on the trail so I brought it over by a light pole by the portopoties.

Great conditions persist at Como! Well worn, but 98% excellent classic tracks. I love this course. Thanks groomers and weather systems!

Excellent conditions at night at Como for both skate and classic. Skate deck was wide, even and well covered throughout. Classic track was also in great condition throughout. Great place to get in a ski away from the Loppet this weekend. Great job by the groomers.
