Notes
This is a county park that contains 1300 acres. They groom about 5 miles of trails. The park is both wooded and hilly and the trails are well marked with maps at most intersections.Trail Reports

The Chester Woods Park multi-use trails have been combed out today. No classic track was set. The conditions are good through out most of the trail, however there are a few icy spots. The south and north sand prairie trails have not been groomed.

The trails are in good shape with the light snow pack we have. There several spots of grass showing.

The trails have been groomed, however no classical track has been set. Sheltered areas have good snow pack with good conditions. There are sections that are ice covered without much snow pack, however much of the trails would be rated good. Please view new signage at the beginning of the trail for correct lane usage and directional signage throughout the groomed trail system. Please be considerate to all user groups and respect the different trail conditions on any given day. Enjoy the park.
