[ Good skis ]
Skied the north classic trail today and they were great! No grass was peaking through, in a few places the tracks were washed out. Still a good amount of snow on the trails.

Afternoon
Firsthand: Classic
[ B skis ]
Skied the south classic trail and it wasn't bad. Some leaves and bark have fallen which catch your skis along the way. There were a few times where I could see dirt coming through the snow, so just watch out for those spots and you will be fine. Trails were groomed well.

[ Good skis ]
Trails were great again! Some snow blowing over, making it feel a little slower than normal, but no grass or anything peeking through. Classic trails looked great as well.

Lindenwood skating lane combed early this morning. A half to an inch of edging over a two-three inch icy base. Skating deck thin in exposed areas or areas under trees. Classical track renovated and track re-set from Lindenwood to Dike East. Tracks set in a mix of new and renovated snow on an icy base and some grass in the track bottom. Fast, well-defined track. Classical track set in Lindenwood Park for first time this season.

Skating lane combed early this morning. Firm fast deck with variable edging. Two inch icy base on trails. Twenty inches of snow for season. Five inches of snow on ground in sheltered areas.

Skate trails were great this morning! A little bit of snow has blown over, but nothing terrible. No ground showing and not icy. From what I could see, it looked like the classic trails were a bit old and choppy, but good enough to ski. Super smooth and plenty of room on the trail.

Observation
[ Trails Open: All ]
Dike East to Lindenwood lift-bridge skating lane renovated ( where enough snow ) and combed early this morning after a half inch of moisture ( rain, freezing rain, graupel, and wind-blown snow ) in the past day.  Deck is icy and fast with variable edging.  Exposed sections the deck blew to grass and dirt.  Otherwise an inch or two of icy base.  Classical tracks were not re-groomed.  They mostly have a half to an inch of wind-blown snow in an icy track.  Some sections of track have blown to bare ice.  Thin and bare sections where warm temps and sun transitioned the track a couple days ago.

Morning
Firsthand: Both
[ Trails Open: All, B skis ]
Dike East to Lindenwood skating lane combed this morning. Rough, carved up, icy areas of the existing deck smoothed over. The deck was expanded into snow on either side of existing deck. An inch of fast edging over existing deck and two inches silky smooth deck over newly combed area with good edging. Three inch of compacted base with some short sections of thin deck under trees or areas exposed to wind and sun where grass and dirt are exposed. Classical tracks are fast and firm with spring-like conditions.
