Skating lane re-combed this morning after lots of recent ski and foot traffic. Classical tracks are fast with good grip after yesterday's blast of light rain. Note: Construction started today at the old intake structure replacing the wood deck with metal one. A section of the area where the ski trail crosses has been plowed to bare ground for truck / skid steer access - but a snow path was left to cross that area. Workers thought they'd be done today or tomorrow.

Classical tracks packed and tracked with well defined tracks over ten inches of icy packed base with firm bottoms, soft sides.  New dry light snow continued to fall and wind-blown snow filling the tracks since grooming.  Skiers were scrubbing out the tracks some but exposed areas were filling in.
