Afternoon
Firsthand: Classic Scheduling
[ Trails Open: All, B skis ]
The first 1 or 2K from the chalet have been heavily skied and the skating deck is firm and getting smooth. Farther out there some good skiing and remnants of yesterday's corduroy. No classic tracks. A handful of brown spots.

Afternoon
Firsthand: Freestyle
[ Trails Open: All, B skis ]
Most of the trails were groomed again today, except some of them only had one pass and the other half of the trail was soft and rutted from yesterday. Where the trails were groomed the skating was firm. No tracks set; snow is still shallow.

Afternoon
Firsthand: Freestyle
[ Good skis ]
Trail was groomed over once, very soft, lots of tracks. No classic tracks set. Some thin spots, and it was slow skiing, but very skiable. Glad to get some snow down.

3" of new snow overnight. As of 1:00 today all trails have been groomed for skating. The skating deck is a bit soft and the skis dig in. No tracks set. Lights are on until 9:00 pm every day.

[ Trails Open: Most, B skis ]
Heard the local ski team was out there yesterday, so went out to give it a shot. Base was pretty thin and bumpy; some icy spots, and definitely some bare spots still. Not groomed and no classic tracks set, but a lot of trails had been well skied on. Good time to practice balance and stability. I didn't do most uphills, as the ones I checked out had a lot of bare spots. I saw very few tracks going up those trails, but guessing the bumpiness and bare spots were reasons skiers weren't going that way, so turned around. Hoping we get snow. Still, if you want to ski, there's a good part of Tower Ridge that is skiable and you really, really want to get out without traveling 90 minutes or more.

Morning
Firsthand: Both
[ Trails Open: Most, Rock skis ]
Trails need more snow but are able to be traversed without much trouble. Grass is poking through the base and no classic tracks are set, but the trail is somewhat packed, skiing none the less!

Quite thin, but ski-able. Basically no classic track set (not really deep enough), but it really wasn't an impediment. Some cars and folks near the chalet, but once I got away I basically had the trails to myself.

We received about 2” of snow overnight. The trails were being groomed today. There is grass showing through in most places, but not too bad. Would recommend not using your best skis. Glad to finally be able to get on the trail!
