Excellent conditions - freshly groomed earlier today probably and the orange and brown trails were nice as well as the one that goes along the river. Thanks for the attention to the trails!

Quite a bit of leaves and sticks on the trails and especially in the tracks with the recent wind. Trails are in good condition overall, the center "berm" on the skate deck reported earlier in the week is gone on almost all trails. Silver trail on the north side of the river is in really good shape. Multi-use trail from the falls and up the hill was pretty chewed up from foot traffic. Orange trail on the south side has some exposed areas with drifting. Nice day for skiing.

It was short but likely a good sample of the entire system. I skied the Purple trail on the wood skis. It was messy with tree litter in and out of track. I was out of track plenty. The youth training loop across the river was decent, but that is on the edge, not in the forest.

Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
I groomed all skate sections Wednesday night. They should remain in great shape for some time as the base is deep and it's our third pass through since the 6-8" we received in Hudson on Sunday. I left the classic tracks as they are still presenting in great shape. Enjoy!

Skied most trails this evening. The crew was out grooming as I skied. Trails are in great shape. Thanks to the volunteer groomers.

Skate skied the silver trail this afternoon. Great snow coverage and everything was recently groomed. I love Willow’s trails, but have been disappointed with the uneven skate deck as of late. I noticed this ridge/berm in the middle of the skate deck last year and am encountering it again this year.

Trails were awesome! Skied the whole park around 10am. Sounds like they were last groomed Sunday and lots of traffic since then, so trails were well packed and able to glide easily. Classic tracks were set as well and in awesome condition! There was a weird “burm”/small bump in close to the middle of the entire skate deck, like a small mound, that made certain parts of the trail awkward. Had to push off the burm. Other than that, can’t complain. Gorgeous day at this amazing park.

Well groomed trails. I skied the silver loop. Plenty of snow on the frozen deck. Wonderful conditions.

Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
All of Willow's trails were rolled followed by grooming and tracking. Hopefully skiers will find that the snow has firmed up overnight. There are a few widely-scattered spots where there is solid ice underneath the new snow which may prevent the new snow from bonding to the existing trail.

Observation
[ Trails Open: All, B skis ]
Two volunteers are out rolling the trails. Final grooming and track is planned to be set after sunset. Expect to ski on very soft and loose snow today. Snow may not be bonded to the existing base.
